The primary role of volunteers is to support the organizing team and participant groups, being available 24 hours a day and accompanying learners throughout outdoor activities.
Volunteers are required to fully participate in all volunteer team meetings as well as throughout all days of the camp.
In addition, volunteers are required to maintain the confidentiality of SETY’s documents, activities, and internal information; to always act and communicate as representatives of the project’s image. They must also respect SETY’s exclusive rights to use images and materials for the purposes of organization, preparation, and communication.
This youth of ours, we walk together
Arms around each other from morning till night
Living as if we had never truly lived before
Holding hands as we pass through the long night
Volunteers are expected to serve as a bridge between the organizing committee and participants. They make an important contribution to the success of the camp and help provide participants with positive and meaningful experiences.
This is also an opportunity for volunteers to develop themselves, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, enhance self-leadership, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through volunteer activities and by participating in the camp’s programs and experiences.
All participation costs for volunteers will be covered by the organizing committee and partners, including transportation expenses from Hanoi to the camp location and back, as well as accommodation and meals during the volunteer period at the summer camp.
In addition, volunteers will have opportunities to collaborate with the organizing committee in future projects.
