CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: SETY CAMP 2026

SETY Camp 2026 is a scientific summer camp focusing on social, ecological, environmental, and sustainable development issues. It is designed for undergraduate students, graduate students, and PhD candidates, and is organized by the Institute for Policy and Management, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with funding support from the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Southeast Asia. SETY Camp 2026 aims to create a dynamic learning environment that empowers participants to enhance their capacity and confidence in engaging in research activities and community development, as well as contributing their voices to policy dialogues for the younger generation in the near future.
SETY Camp 2026, with the theme "Ideas and Solutions for Socio-Ecological Transformation in Southeast Asia from Youth Perspectives" is designed as a multidimensional platform for learning and exchange. Here, young people are not only exposed to critical issues but also actively engaged in analyzing and proposing solutions. The theme highlights a youth-centered approach to transformation, while emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary knowledge and practical action in addressing sustainable development challenges.

▶︎ HIGH-QUALITY AND ENGAGING PROGRAM CONTENT:
The 6-day program features a variety of knowledge-sharing sessions, scientific research skill-building activities, and practical experiences through thematic discussions and teamwork. Lecturers and mentors are experienced experts and dedicated advisors in the fields of social, ecological, environmental issues, and sustainable development.
In addition, participants will take part in team-building activities and networking sessions with reputable scholars and experts. The program will conclude with a GALA night to wrap up five days of activities.

▶︎ ELIGIBILITY, TIME, LOCATION, AND FUNDING:
1. Eligibility: 
- Aged between 15 and 35
- Currently studying or working at universities, research institutes, or research centers in Hanoi
- Interested in or currently studying/researching topics related to socio-ecological transformation, environment, gender, and sustainable development
- Interested in or currently studying/researching topics related to socio-ecological transformation, environment, gender, and sustainable development. Priority will be given to applicants who have prepared drafts related to these topics

2. Funding: All selected participants will receive full financial support, including program participation and living expenses within the program framework.
