<\/strong>I\u2019m \u0110\u1eb7ng Kh\u00e1nh Linh, though at work most people usually call me simply Linh \u0110\u1eb7ng. I am currently a third-year student at the Faculty of International Studies, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi. At the moment, I am also an intern at IID \u2013 Research Institute for Innovation and Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have loved and been committed to environmental and community projects for two years, since I was still a high school student. Perhaps it is because I can feel the positive values being spread, and the projects I design truly create an impact on the people around me. Above all, I always want to experience new things, and getting involved in community projects has given me so many lessons, relationships, and motivation to keep pushing myself to grow and develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>The way I came to SETY CAMP was quite unexpected and full of interesting coincidences. I first heard about the camp when the application opened, but at that time I was quite hesitant and worried\u2014afraid that my application might not be good enough, or that maybe I wasn\u2019t really suitable to join since I\u2019m rather introverted. But in the end, after some encouragement from my close friend, I thought, \u201cWhy not give it a try?\u201d So I submitted my application\u2014just one day before SETY closed the registration.<\/p>\n\n\n
<\/strong>What impressed me the most about the camp were the well-prepared, thoughtful, and carefully designed sessions by the SETY CAMP organizers. I learned so many valuable lessons from those intensive training sessions. I could truly feel the passion and inspiration from the speakers. I am genuinely grateful and deeply cherish this precious one-week journey, which brought me so much joy alongside my friends. It was an incredibly fulfilling and meaningful time for me.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

<\/strong>After the camp, I made many new friends and expanded my connections. I\u2019ve continued to keep in touch with them, and we truly consider each other close friends, supporting one another in our growth.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
<\/strong>Our project aims to contribute to developing green human resources as well as creating career opportunities for students at Hoa Lu University. Specifically, we envisioned a \u201cGreen Job Fair\u201d that brings together businesses with recruitment needs in the environmental sector. This would be the very first event of its kind at Hoa Lu University in Ninh Binh. The project hopes to attract more than 20 companies to participate with booths and coaching sessions; engage around 300 students; and help at least 50 students secure job offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Although the summer camp ended nearly a month ago, I still vividly remember the joyful memories in Ninh Binh. Every moment in class and every team meeting will always remain a part of my youth. I am deeply grateful to SETY CAMP for giving me the chance to meet so many wonderful friends who constantly inspire me, and I truly feel thankful for having crossed paths with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Through many community projects, the most important lesson I\u2019ve learned is the need to rely on the strength of the community. I realized that I could confidently take on the role of a project leader, even without extensive experience, because if the activities receive support from the community and those around me, the plans will be easier to carry out and achieve greater results. That\u2019s why I am always willing to connect, learn, and collaborate with teammates and people in my network. This not only boosts my confidence but also encourages me to take initiative in projects without hesitation on a mental or emotional level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>I have been officially pursuing green projects for nearly two years now, and I consider it a kind of fate, since my journey into the environmental field started quite unexpectedly \u2014 but luckily, it feels just right for me. I hope that one day, not too far from now, I can bring my community projects beyond borders, letting them travel across the globe and unfold in distant lands, so I can fully live out my passion. My so-called \u201ccompelling story\u201d will be rooted in genuine values and simple yet meaningful beginnings like these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
