Low-waste technology companies and projects are also attracting attention and investment from green investment funds and socially responsible investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For products, Low-waste technology helps reduce negative impacts throughout the product life cycle, from design to disposal. For services, Low-waste technology incorporates environmental factors into the design and development of services. When businesses are aware of cleaner production, they can open up many opportunities in new markets, produce products with high quality and high selling prices. Meanwhile, production costs are reduced. From another perspective, changing technology towards energy saving and Low-waste technology helps the business community escape the “trap” of low-tech, low-cost products from China. From there, promoting self-research and development activities in each business, creating the premise for a “greener” production. This not only improves the production and business situation but also enhances the competitiveness of businesses in the domestic and international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To support businesses in converting to Low-waste technology, the Party and the State have promoted green technology through the promulgation of a system of Laws: Law on Science and Technology (issued in 2000, amended in 2013), Law on Technology Transfer (2006); Law on High Technology (2008); Law on Energy Use, Saving and Efficiency (2010)… These Laws have created a favorable corridor and procedures for businesses to carry out the task of technological innovation.
