  • My most recent achievement is reaching the finale of the 24th<\/sup> Eur\u00e9ka Science Prize. Having surpassed 47 schools across the country, 224 economics research projects, and 722 participants, I became one of 19 research groups participating in the finale of the Eur\u00e9ka Science Prize, which took place at the end of November in Ho Chi Minh City.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Let\u2019s ignore g<\/strong>ender stereotypes <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Many people have asked me, “Why do you have to study and research a lot?” For what? “If you find a husband and get married, you don’t need to study hard and well.” Don\u2019t argue with people who do not share your opinion. Let\u2019s act to prove our choice<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Five best pieces of advice<\/strong> for female students doing scientific research<\/strong><\/p>\n

    First, scientific research is for those who persevere. Men are still thought to be smarter than women, according to many stereotypes. However, please keep in mind that intelligence is not the deciding factor. Perseverance is the key to success in scientific research.<\/p>\n

    Second, gender stereotypes should be ignored. Many people have asked me, “Why do you have to study and research a lot?” For what? “If you find a husband and get married, you don’t need to study hard and well.” I ignored those words and decided not to argue with people who did not share the same opinion, and I used actions and work to prove my choice.<\/p>\n

    Third, you had better make a commitment to yourself or someone else at the beginning of your research journey. When I did my research for the first time, I committed to my instructor that “I won’t give up.”. Hence, every time I got discouraged, I remembered that commitment. Later on, when I start doing something, I commit to it as a “pole” that I will cling to whenever I face difficulties.<\/p>\n

    Fourth, you should make friends with those who share the same passion. It\u2019s my friends, who are always by my side, that greatly contribute to my achievements in scientific research. Let\u2019s look for these people in academic clubs, seminars, workshops, or SETY summer camps. They are the source of inspiration for you in difficult times.<\/p>\n

    Fifth, you should do scientific research with a relaxed mentality. I know there are quite a few people who do scientific research with great goals and certain achievements. However, I feel that sometimes success depends a lot on luck. Completing research that makes you proud is already a success. Let us conduct research regardless of the outcome. At the end of the day, with your perseverance, you are the winner.<\/p>\n
